Menu for This Week

Here’s what I’ll be cooking this week on the nights that I’m responsible for dinner:

Monday – Penne with Beef and Sun-Dried Tomatoes
Tuesday – My sister’s cooking
Wednesday – My brother’s cooking
Thursday – Chicken Stew with Potatoes
Friday – California Chicken Bake
Saturday – Double-Cheese, Spinach, and Chicken Pizza

My brother may or may not cook on a second night, it all depends on which nights he’s off.  None of us had to worry about dinner tonight, because we celebrated my nephew’s birthday and there was food there.  Lucky me; one less thing to deal with.

So, now it’s just a matter of making up the grocery list and buying it.  Every time I think I’ve finished the list, someone calls me to add to it.  *grrrr*  I guess that’s what I get for calling to ask for special orders.

  1. Monday I made beef stew because I forgot the cookbook at home.

    Tonight I forgot the cookbook in the car, and instead of going back for it, I improv-ed. The Chicken stew I made was interesting. I wonder if the recipe in the cookbook would taste any different.
